Academic Achievement Programs Fall 07 CoursesFall 2007 Courses start the week of September 10th • Introduction to Research – SSS-Sec.#5This course introduces students to undergraduate research. As part of this process, the course strives to build research confidence, involve students in discussions, readings, exercises, and peer presentations. Students will also develop an academic research proposal. In class, they will receive academic evaluation, general advising, course planning and introduce campus support services and resources. Miller Scholars Seminar-Section(s)#4&38Miller Scholars develop research and community service projects, present their academic work, and develop leadership and communication skills. ’07 Miller Scholars: ED 198/003, CCN#24100 Career and Graduate School Exploration and Preparation/G.R.E-Section #9This course provides the steps leading to successful graduate school admissions. It is a seminar for second semester junior and first semester senior students who plan to apply to graduate and professional programs.
